About Me:: hi there I am Codie Scott and look forward to becoming your friend. I am here to help anyone who has a hungry, drive, desire and a passion to be in the Film & TV industry. I live in New Orleans LA that is fast becoming the HUB where all productions are wanting to me maded. I am an actor, writer producer crew, and producer that has 14yrs of experience being in this business. I gained my SAG eligibity on my very first time on a movie set that happen to be a feture film called "Father Hood". It starred Patrick Swayze and i was bumped up my first day from a background player to a speaking role. Only to have my scene mainly clipped on the editing floor. But that's Showbiz....and it never stopped me. In fact I have over 100 Film & TV productions now to my credit. I have now gained the skills, experience and confidence to tackle any aspect or area of film. I realize now I can do it all and the sky is the limit to the opportunities that await me! I want you share what i have learned with YOu to help you make your DREAMS come true. But, listen and listen good..if you you don't have the hungry, drive, desire and a passion for this industry. Get out now!!! Because it has many obstacles and road blocks that you will encounter. I did! But, I knew this is where I belonged and knew the challenges i was going to have to face. I have gained some valuable information along the way that has allowed me to be successful. I am willing to do the same for those who want share this journey! So, lets explore together the many avenues that awaits us! I am always learning something new and discovering how difficult acting, writing and producing truly is. But I am determined to make my MARK soon in this INDUSTRY! So, I am here to do what i can to help you succeed. Ask me an questions you have but be prepared i will not Sugarcoat anything...from your Head Shot, resume, acking skills, classes, techniques and etc. I will share with you what i have learned from many upon many of well known, talented, and skilled professionals from Hollywood and my honest opinions. I'm actively participating in college theatre and have been cast in nearly every production I've auditioned for. Thats exciting because I now know I'm doing something right. In this business you don't always have the luxury of having ppl commend your work, so realizing that you're good at what you're doing and looking for ways to improve is key. I'm going to get my degree in biology before I move out to Hollywood. I figure, I look very young for my age and that gives me time and flexibility. Am I right to assume that?
