About Me:

FloRen Cristea, an artist (singer/songwriter) from Lake Oswego, Oregon, was born on the 15th of January, 1980 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Cluj-Napoca, being the heart of Transylvania, attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists every year. He moved to the United States when he was twelve years old, and started to play the piano when he was fourteen. This is how FloRen became interested in entertainment and music.
On FloRen's journey to become successful artist, he studied with Professor Thomas R. Blaylock, founder of Northwest Institute of voice located in Beaverton, Oregon. Many of the artists at the Northwest Institute of Voice have successful careers in United States and overseas.
In 2007, FloRen was discovered by top producers from Europe and was invited to collaborate on a new album. He co-wrote and recorded the single “Million Feelings” which is playing on the radio stations and clubs through out Europe, Australia, and some local radio stations in the USA.
Since August, 2008 and up todate, the track Million Feelings-FloRen Cristea(Chris Mayer Club Remix) has been in Top 10 Dance Chart on Garageband (One of the biggest Indiependent Music Charts in the World).
The track “Stay” recorded by FloRen, is most requested by listeners and reached # 2 in the top charts for the month of Spetember 2008 at Xperience Radio Station in UK. Positive Gaming AB from Sweden signed a one year contract with FloRen for the track “Million Feelings (dance remix)” for dance games to fight obesity. The songs are played on other radio statios like Dance One from Europe, Clubbersradio and Kiink FM from Australia, Buzz FM from Germany, RadioX from Netherlands, C-89.5 from Seattle WA, and many other more.....
V-Town Cartel Music (a publishing company from Los Angeles) has signed FloRen and is working to promote the 3 songs, “Million Feelings, Stay, and Saving My Soul”, for movies, commercials, games and other areas. In June of 2008, FloRen's first independent music video was filmed and co-produced by him in Portland and Woodburn, Oregon.
Also, FloRen colaborated with Producer/songwriter Geoff Byrd from Los Angeles and co-wrote the song “Jealousy” that is appreciated and complimented by many movie and film Producers and Promoters from Hollywood CA.
FloRen is appreciated by many young fans for his great unique vocal sound and songwritting. His music will stay with you!!!
